Back in July we asked you to vote on the logo that will become the official mark of the Blizzard treat in 2010 and the response was fantastic!
And now that the votes have been tallied, I am ready to reveal to you the official 25th Blizzard Birthday logo.
Drumroll please…
Tada!
Starting January, your logo will be all over all things Blizz - cups, posters, television ads, and a bunch of other cool stuff we’re mixing up!
Yes, I know, you also voted on the Blizzard of the Month flavor for the January 2010 Blizz. Sorry, fans, the Blizzard Wizards up at headquarters aren’t leaking those results just yet.
But keep checking back on Fanbook for all the latest on the 2010 25th Birthday Bash. And don’t forget to leave your ideas in the comments.
Well, fans, you might think working at an office complete with a Blizzard machine is the most awesome job ever. Well, I’m pretty sure the kids of the staff at the DQ Home Office agree! Watch DQ soft serve up the fun during Bring Your Kids to Work Day.
Remember fans, the Blizzard of the Month is not a popularity contest. All a Blizz needs to be granted the honor of BOM is to be exceptionally delicious, amazingly amazing, and to earn the love of Blizz fans far and wide.
Ok, yes, it kinda is a popularity contest. And the August Blizzard of the Month might as well be Homecoming Queen!
The Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookies Blizzard treat is the MOST POPULAR limited time Blizz EVER. Last year, y’all spooned down over 10 million of these minty masterpieces.
Hey! Wait! Are you even still reading this or are you out the door on your way to your local DQ?
Well, hold on a minute! I have even more good news. The Thin Mint Cookies Blizz isn’t the only Girl Scouts Blizzard treat in town. The Tagalongs PB Patties Blizz is still tagging along too!
Ok, I’ve kept you long enough. Hit the trail to your local DQ because August is almost over and the Girl Scouts are getting ready to pack up camp!
You were out by the droves on Thursday, August 13th for Miracle Treat Day. DQ, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the millions of sick and injured kids that you helped raise millions of dollars for say “Thank You”!
In Madison, South Dakota alone, one DQ location sold 18,017 Blizzard treats. 6,000 more than last year! And there’s only 6,540 people in the town!!
And in Texas, the “Battle of the Blizzards” between the coaching staff of New Braunfels High School and Canyon High School packed the place all day long.
It’s always win-win when you can help sick and injured kids AND enjoy a delicious Blizz!
