“Ode to Blizzards”
It used to be a blizzard
Was something to avoid
All that snow, wind and hassle
Just left me all annoyed
But Dairy Queen invented
The Blizzard soft serve treat
That tempting mountain of taste
So magical and sweet
Now Blizzards don’t bother me
Nor do they ruin my day
I just run over to my DQ
And I will get to say
Make mine a Mint Oreo, please
Take me from this wintry place
Let me lose myself at DQ
Put a smile back on my face
