Hi Fans,
2010 is the 25th birthday of everyone’s favorite frozen treat. But which Blizz is the favoritest of the favorites?
In July, DQ asked the Blizzard Fan Club to vote on the first flavor of the New Year, marking the first time ANYONE (and I really mean ANYONE) outside of DQ HQ has chosen the Blizzard of the Month flavor.
Here were your choices:
Chocolate Xtreme
Strawberry CheeseQuake
Banana Cream Pie
Turtle Pecan Cluster
Did you pick the winner? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see…

Last month, a few of you were in the dark when you tried to test your eye for flavor. I heard Brownie Batter, Georgia Mud Fudge, and a few other Chocolaty creations. But the answer, alas, was the Midnight Truffle.
Bethany was the first right answer on our Facebook page and Kelly knew her stuff on Fanbook.
So, let’s try it again…
Name that flavor, fans.

From all the emails and comments, I know DQ was a big part of growing up for many of you.
Melissa wrote an entire post about her teenage years working at her local DQ in Michigan. Sounds like she had a sweet time serving up cold treats to all the soft serve lovers in Dexter. Thanks for sharing, Melissa!
Who else out there was a former cone curler? Answers these questions and I might feature you as my next DQ Superstar!
When did you work at DQ?
Which Blizzard treat is the most Blizztastic?
What was your fave part about your DQ job?
How many tries did it take for you to master the curl? (Be honest!)
Any inside Blizz tips?

Hi Blizz fans,
Did you know there’s a HUGE difference between Canada and the U.S.? Well, yes, for one, they’re entirely different countries. And yes, our friendly neighbors to the north pronounce “about” in their own special way. But I’m talking about Blizzard treats.
The U.S. and Canada have two completely different toffee Blizzard treats!
Canada swirls and twirls delicious buttery Skor bars with creamy DQ soft serve, while the U.S. is mixing up theirs with bits of crunchy Heath.
Now I don’t want to start a Great Toffee War and ruin the peaceful northern and southern borders of the U.S. and Canada, respectively. But what’s the verdict from the fans? Has anyone had both? Which country’s toffee Blizz reigns supreme?
Leave your thoughts in the comments.

With the holidays coming up, you’ve got shopping, planning, and all kinds of stuff ahead of you. That’s why DQ is giving you permission to get a little nutty with the November Blizzard of the Month.
In the U.S., the Girl Scouts are back with the Girl Scouts Tagalong Peanut Butter Patty Blizzard treat. It’s filled with crunchy Girl Scouts PB Patties and creamy peanut butter blended with delicious vanilla DQ soft serve.
And in Canada, DQ is serving up the most taste they could pack under one roof with the Tin Roof Brownie Blizz. It’s chock-full of chocolate-covered peanuts and chewy brownie pieces, then drizzled with delectable chocolate in creamy vanilla DQ soft serve.
So take a break from the holiday hustle and get to DQ, because these choco-nutty Blizzard treats are only around for November.
